In Michigan City, IN, the channel leading to Lake Michigan is very busy and for safety, they installed these red dock lights to guide them away from the decks.

In Evenston, IL, Grosse Point lighthouse stands out with it's tall tower. It lies next to an old victorian style keeper's house.

On the beach there was a pad of wheat-like weeds.

Sorry I haven't been on my blog in a long time with Christmas coming, it gets so crazy with the decorations and the parties, so I had NO time to blog.
